This month, the Mountain Enterprise sponsored Peter Gullerud for a short course from the Arts Council of Kern in Bakersfield. The class was instructed by famed muralist Eloy Torrez. Mr. Torrez is best known for his larger than life rendition of movie legend Anthony Quinn on the side of the Victor Clothing Company Building in downtown L.A. and of other Hollywood legends throughout the city. Peter was grateful to learn practical and creative techniques for larger than scale outdoor (and indoor) mural applications.
